KidsWhoKode started in October 2017. Shweta and Sanjeev were not techies and did not know how to code but they saw how
every job required people to speak the language of technology. So they searched far and wide to see if there were any
programs that taught students the skills that were required in this new world: communication, working in teams and coding. They
found that there were a lot of programs in America and Europe but there were none in India. The programs in India are all paid programs that are not always accessible.
So they decided to start KidsWhoKode to empower every child to dream and
create the world they imagine through code. They convinced 15 of their friends and partners with organisations like Mantra
for change. In November 2017, KidsWhoKode went live.
